Lost Paradise
Lost Paradise Design Project is inspired by the artwork of Argentine artist Nicola Costantino, titled "The True Garden is Never Green." Our guiding idea for creating the fashion collection is "Mythology as a source of resurgence in a dreamlike and futuristic world."
We drew inspiration from the clothing of the mythological world, translating it into light and translucent garments, paired with opaque pieces to highlight the nudity of specific body parts. We constructed clothing with varying reading levels, creating depth by subtracting pieces and leaving space between the skin and the garment. Our designs incorporate volume based on animal morphology, utilizing fur, natural wool, leather, and plumage. The form and structure of the "Source of Life" sculpture were adopted and transferred to clothing details or figurative elements.
